Todd Beyreuther is a design engineer specializing in the development of cross-laminated timber (CLT) materials, components, and assemblies. With 25+ years of experience in structural engineering practice, academic research at Washington State University, and product development at Katerra and Mercer, Beyreuther recently co-founded STRIATE, a company dedicated to building a more responsible and competitive value chain for modular mass timber prefabrication. He currently serves as the Chair of the WA State Building Code Council and is leading a statewide initiative to develop a performance-based middle housing code.
