Peter Rose


Co-Founder, IDCUBED

Peter Rose is a recognized leader in the architectural design profession. He founded Peter Rose + Partners in Montreal. It is now based in Boston, where he has also had a long academic career at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.

Rose has received numerous awards for residential, institutional, and urban projects. The scale of his work has varied from large urban design projects, such as the Old Port of Montreal Waterfront Master Plan, to architecture projects such as the Canadian Centre of Architecture and other works across multiple scales.

Peter is the cofounder of IDCUBED, alongside Andreas Krawczyk, Christian Kaufmann, and Justin Cook – which focuses on the making of buildings in a modular mass timber process to address the challenges of affordable housing and climate change. IDCUBED recently completed the first modular mass timber building in the United States.
