John is a senior preconstruction executive at Gilbane Building Company with over 38 years of experience in the industry. He has an extensive background in pharmaceutical, healthcare, higher education, hospitality and commercial markets and has worked on numerous projects totaling over $4 billion. He has worked for clients across the region including AstraZeneca, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University, GlaxoSmithKline, The School District of Philadelphia, CBRE, Comcast, and Cordish Companies, to name a few. He offered critical preconstruction leadership for major, skyline-changing Philadelphia projects like the Philadelphia Live! Hotel and Casino and CHOP Morgan Center for Research and Innovation, as well as for the first mass timber building in the city of Philadelphia, Amy Gutmann Hall at the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is known for his work ethic and the strength of his client relationships. John has a degree in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
