Owner, Architect, Field Edge

Emily is a mass timber architect working to make buildings behave more like plants and industries more like forests. She has been building with mass timber since 2013 and increasingly applies off-site fabrication approaches in her work. Successfully leading teams to innovate in multiple sectors has given her a holistic view of the construction industry and a passion for breaking boundaries towards a circular economy future. She established Field Edge in 2024 to connect natural resources and regenerative industry-scale projects through consulting and design. She received her degree in Architecture from Cornell University in 2003.
